Turkey is said to have offered Trump's ex-security advisor millions for the delivery of the preacher Gülen. The special Mueller goes after the allegations.

Donald Trump: US special reviews Michael Flynn's contacts with Turkey

The US special Robert Mueller is suspected of corrupt collusion between Turkey and former national security advisor Michael Flynn. This is reported by Wall Street Journal and NBC broadcaster. So high-ranking Turkish government officials should have pledged up to 15 million dollars to n Trump-confidant Flynn, he should bring about extradition of preacher Fethullah Gülen. Gülen is blamed by Turkish government for coup attempt of summer 2016. He lives in US exile.

U.S. President Donald Trump appointed Flynn as a security advisor at White House after taking office in January. A few weeks later, Flynn had to resign because he had lied about confidential contacts with Russian ambassador. Special Mueller is focused on examining Russian manipulations in US election campaign. According to media reports, however, investigator now also examines meeting of Flynn with Turkish representatives. The newspaper and TV station rely on several people with knowledge of internal status of Mueller's investigations.

The meeting was scheduled to take place in December 2016 in New York, after Trump's election victory, but before taking office. Among or things, question was raised as to wher government-critical Turkish preacher Gülen could be secretly flown in a private jet from USA to Turkish prison island of Imralı. The Turkish representatives would have offered Flynn money in event that he Gülens extradition. It was unclear, however, how detailed deliberations were and wher money had actually already been paid, it was said.

Gülen has a large support in Turkey. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan considers him instigator of failed coup attempt against him. Since n, Turkish authorities have been very harsh against alleged Gülen supporters.
