MADRID, 16 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) -

Openvia Mobility, Globalvia's technology platform, has signed a collaboration agreement with the Spanish technology group GMV with the aim of promoting NeoRoads, its initiative focused on the development of connected, safe and sustainable roads.

The agreement materialized last Friday, January 12, 2024, and seeks to jointly explore and develop solutions that satisfy use cases within the context of the connected road, as reported by both companies.

This push will take advantage of V2X communications technology at both ends of the segment, in road infrastructure and in the vehicle, with special emphasis on connectivity technology based on 5G-V2X cellular communications.

The NeoRoads initiative aims to provide a package of services and technologies to road operators that allows them to digitalize their infrastructure, thus improving their O processes.

We are convinced that this alliance with GMV opens the doors to achieving great progress in our connected and intelligent roads that will translate into cases of real use that have an impact on our users and society in general," said the general director of Openvia Mobility, Fernando Vallejo.
