A shot was heard in the night from Saturday to Sunday in the Rosemont-Petite-Patrie borough, in Montreal.

It was around 3 a.m. Sunday morning that authorities received a call about gunshots near the intersection of Saint-Hubert and Beaubien streets. According to initial information, an altercation outside would have degenerated and there would have been at least one shot.

"So far, no injuries have been located or have come forward," said Véronique Comtois, spokesperson for the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM).

The scene was protected and investigators went on site to shed light on these events. A dog handler was also called in to assist the police in their search.
