It is one of the most coveted awards in the watch industry: the "Golden balance". It is awarded by FOCUS, FOCUS Online and the WATCH MAGAZINE. Who receives the price, the watch fans in a large audience a choice. 50 watches in five different award categories in total to choose from. Over 14,000 votes were received in this year's vote.

the Big winner in the election, 2020 Nomos Glashütte. The watch manufacturer is occupied with his model "Tangente Sport Neomatik 42 date blue black" the first place in the category "watches over 5000 euros". In addition, there was a first prize in the category "watches to 10,000 euros" for the model "Metro rose gold Neomatik 39".

But also two other manufacturers have received several awards: IWC was delighted to receive third place in category "watches to 10,000 euros" for "Pilot's Watch Chronograph" and a second place for "Portuguese Perpetual calendar" in the category "watches over 25.000 Euro". Audemars Piguet landed, again, in the category "watches up to 25,000 euros," with "Royal Oak self winding Chronograph" on the third place. The same place the manufacturer is occupied with the "Code of 11.59 perpetual calendar" in the category "watches over 25.000 Euro".

The special technical award this year went to the Bulgarian for "Octo Finissimo Chronograph GMT Automatic". The Jury acknowledged that Bulgari has created the model of the thinnest ever built in mechanical timer with stop function. The in-house manufactured caliber BVL 318 measures only 3.3 mm in height.

Like last year, was also re-elected for a ladies watch. The choice of the Jury, fell on the Vacheron Constantin "Patrimony automatic".

for the First time, there was a Lifetime Achievement Award. Editorial Director Rüdiger Bucher, presented him to Jean-Claude Biver, the watch chief of the luxury group LVMH. Biver received the award for his contribution to the watch industry, coined Biver, not least with his Work brands such as Blancpain, Omega and Hublot.
