Madrid, October 25, 2022.- Roberto Santiago, the best-selling national author in the Children's and Youth Literature category, will meet with his young readers tomorrow, Wednesday, October 26 at 7:00 p.m. He will do it on the stage of the interpretation studio Primera Toma in Madrid to present the theatrical book Adolescer 2055, together with the renowned actors Ester Expósito and Gonzalo Lumbreras, who starred in this work on that same stage and who will re-read some of the acts.
This story of teenagers was born as a play and has been converted into a youth book, edited by SM. Adolescer 2055 gathers a group of young people in a house, who are looking to leave the juvenile center where they live. A seemingly normal weekend opens the door to a plot that combines first love, jealousy and death.
The journalist and writer Carme Chaparro will conduct the presentation of the script in this school that trains children and young people in the world of acting. Roberto Santiago will intervene, who will tell the germ of this story and what he feels when he sees it reconverted to be read and interpreted by his readers. The author will be accompanied by the editorial manager of Children's and Youth Literature of SM, Berta Márquez, and by the actors Ester Expósito and Gonzalo Lumbreras, who put themselves in the shoes of their characters at the beginning of their career.

Roberto Santiago (Madrid, 1968) is currently the best-selling national author in the category of Children's and Youth Literature, thanks to adventure collections such as Los Futbolísimos and Los Forasteros del Tiempo, by SM, which have five million copies sold in Spain.
He is also the author of novels for adults; among them, Ana, which he adapted for television in Ana Tramel, with Maribel Verdú as the protagonist. In addition to being a screenwriter for television, theater and cinema, he is a director. As a football fan, he has poured his childhood dreams into this sport in his films Iván's Dream or The World's Longest Penalty.
