Falcon Heavy: scrapped in space

The SpaceX Rocket Falcon Heavy has done its job even if the most expensive part is scrap. Now a Tesla flies through all. What that brings to humanity

Holy shit, my nerds... The FalconHeavy can be both – a great achievement and a beknackter tail comparison. It's okay to feel two things. " Sarcastic Rover – The satirical voice of Lonely Rovers Curiosity at Mars Club brings to point what many now think.

Yesterday evening of German time, heavy-duty rocket Falcon Heavy of private company SpaceX is now started after years of delay in space. The airspace engineers ' highly risky flight – The Falcon Heavy could have exploded – has succeeded, even if not everything worked at 100 percent. The most important thing at a glance:

    • The Tesla has been in process: The red sports car, which was carried on board Falcon Heavy into space (here pictures of maiden flight), was supposed to be transported to a slightly different orbit around sun, which made him relatively close by Planet Mars. Only after that he would have drifted into dark expanse of asteroid belt. The roadster was supposed to float through space for millions of years. Apparently, however, it is now already after third ignition – namely rocket stage to which it is mounted – lost from planned path and controls on winding, but still direct way to edge of our solar system towards asteroid belt.

Third burn successful. Exceeded Mars orbit and kept going to asteroid belt. Pic.twitter.com/bKhRN73WHF

    • two drive modules have landed well again: of three basic parts (cores) with a total of 27 rocket drives, from which first stage of rocket was assembled, two side drives (called booster or side cores) are back on Tuesday Landed. As planned, y set up again in Cape Canaveral about eight minutes after launch of Falcon Heavy – on specially designed landing platforms. These boosters are drive modules of Falcon 9 transport rockets, which already carry cargo to ISS on a regular basis. They can be recycled to parts, which is real highlight of whole SpaceX idea.
    • most viable rocket currently in operation Works: Falcon Heavy is considered so special because it can transport around 60 tonnes payload into Earth orbit. It is not most viable, nor is it largest space rocket ever built. But re is no or that is currently in operation with which you could shoot so much weight into space.

    • The most expensive core piece of Rocketcrashed in Atlantic: on a floating platform in Atlantic Ocean, middle part of first stage (center core) should have landed well again. That didn't work. Three engines should slow down module for its point landing, but only one worked. Thus, missile piece missed platform by just under 100 meters and slammed on water at around 500 kilometers per hour. "We lost center core," said a spokesman at control center in Cape Canaveral.

Is flight a success in spite of se mishaps? Above all, about sense of all hassle space fans and experts continue. One is wondering if this is going to be revolution of space travel: start-up billionaire trashes space with a sports car and a doll in astronaut suit. In doing so, he lands biggest PR coup – just because he can? and recycling. The most important of three rocket drives of this generally rar expensive rocket has not landed again – but in bucket!

The ors rave about brilliant performance. Elon Musk demonstrates what people are capable of when y put everything on one card. If you do not like US space agency NASA for example, against sheer concerns, bureaucracy and house politics need decades for everything that is daring.
