- Automobili Pininfarina creates bespoke twin hypercars - Reversario and Anniversario: a celebration of balance
CAMBIANO, Italy, April 11, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- Automobili Pininfarina has delivered its most unique commission to date: the Battista Reversario, inspired by the Battista Anniversario and the concept of balance. It is the pinnacle of "Dream Cars. Made Real": Automobili Pininfarina's philosophy of co-creating truly unique vehicles with its customers.
Each handcrafted vehicle that leaves Automobili Pininfarina's Cambiano workshop is a unique expression of each customer's personality. Battista Reversario serves as an example of this, demonstrating the sophistication of the customization available to clients.
By creating the Battista Reversario, the client, together with the designers at Automobili Pininfarina, has created a bespoke vehicle that will never be repeated. The customer's vehicle collection already includes the fifth of the limited series of five Battista Anniversario models.
One of the most striking features of the Battista Reversario is its color scheme, which is designed to be the inverse of the unique Pininfarina heritage-inspired design theme that characterized the Anniversario. The lower part of the body is finished in Bianco Sestriere gloss, and the upper part in Grigio Antonelliano gloss.
Continuing the theme of the previous model, pinstripes match the upper stripe, in the characteristic Iconica Blu. Custom lettering, including the vehicle's unique "Reversario" nameplate, is displayed both forward and "in reflection", on the carbon side fins and at the bottom of the active rear spoiler.
Inside, the Pilota seats are upholstered in white-on-white Alcantara padding with perforated background in Iconica Blu. While the cabin is primarily black, including the custom black-anodized chassis plate, there are accents on the cupholder retainer, the headliner center bezel and seat belts, all finished in Iconica Blu.
Reversario comes complete with an exclusive three-piece suitcase set, reflecting the customer's lifestyle. Its briefcase, weekend bag and suit bag are finished in black leather, adorned with Iconica Blu piping and an off-white Alcantara quilt, and represent the ultimate lifestyle collection.

Battista Anniversario was launched in 2020 to celebrate 90 years since Battista "Pinin" Farina created the legendary coachbuilder and design house Pininfarina. Only five were available.
Battista Reversario, like the Anniversario, is the most powerful road-legal Italian car ever made, powered by a state-of-the-art powertrain. The world's first purely electric hyper GT uses a high-capacity 120 kWh lithium-ion battery contained within a strong yet lightweight carbon fiber casing.
Four independent high-performance electric motors, one driving each wheel, combine with torque vectoring, electronic stability control and a software differential to allow drivers to tailor power delivery and handling responses like never before, while its liquid-cooled T-shaped battery is centrally mounted behind the seats to ensure a low center of gravity.
Battista's unique launch control technology contributes to Formula One car-like acceleration, with 0 to 60 mph in 1.79 s, 0 to 100 km/h in 1.86 s, 0 to 120 mph in 4, 49 s and 0 to 200 km/h in just 4.75 seconds.
Battista combines the performance of a hypercar with the cruising range and luxurious cabin of a traditional GT, with all-wheel drive and a choice of five driving modes to adapt driving dynamics: Calma, Pura, Energica, Furiosa and Carattere.

The Battista is the most powerful car ever designed and built in Italy, and offers a level of performance unattainable today in any road-legal sports car with an internal combustion engine.
