The "Haut-Brion-inspired" Clarendelle family of wines traces its origins to the purchase of Chateau Haut-Brion by American financier Clarence Dillon in 1935. To this day, under the leadership of his great-grandson, Prince Robert, the Clarendelle's parent company has grown to include the famed Parisian restaurant Le Clarence (proclaimed one of the world's 50 best restaurants), an exclusive wine distributor (Negociant) and a group of exceptional wine shops launched in 2015 under the name from "La Cave du Chateau." Although the family business is primarily known for its excellence in the world of gastronomy and oenology, over the generations it has also become a stalwart patron of the arts.

Like the Academy Awards®, also with a nearly century-old tradition, Clarendelle offers a resolutely contemporary interpretation of our times and of the famous French "art de vivre." This everyday luxury benefits from the expertise of Haut-Brion winegrowers, who oversee the milling process, vintage after vintage, as they do at the famous La Mission Haut-Brion and Quintus estates. The bottles are then kept in cellars until they are released on the market when it is considered that they have reached their full magnitude and can offer the most exquisite expression of the Bordeaux lands to wine lovers around the world.

The Oscars will also serve Le Dragon de Quintus, a true promise from the Bordeaux right bank, coming from the relatively new Saint Emilion hacienda. Behind the scenes, the lucky nominees and winners will also be able to sample one of the few white wines produced in Bordeaux, sourced from the Chateau La Mission Haut-Brion and Chateau Haut-Brion estates: La Clarté de Haut-Brion.

We at Clarendelle and Domaine Clarence Dillon want to raise our glasses to all those who have contributed so significantly to entertaining and inspiring us all over the past year. Let's join the millions of viewers around the world in recognizing the outstanding achievements of the 95th Academy Awards nominees. Health!
