Testing was conducted under the Advanced Threat Detection (ATD) protocol, which focuses on evaluating endpoint security products for protection against new and little-known threats across all types of malware, and tests against harmless applications for false positive reports. Over 628 malicious sample tests and 579 harmless applications were run over a period of thirty-four consecutive days.
