Ryanair: Charge of false independent pilots

The Public Prosecutor's office in Koblenz has accused five people who have co-organised a system of bogus Ryanair pilots. Thus, as responsible two British personnel service providers in 920 cases, y would not have taken out social security contributions for pilots, as authority said. The contributions for Ryanair pilots with German home airports, not paid from 2007 to 2016, should amount to around six million euros.

The extensive investigation had already begun in 2011. In October 2017 Ryanair announced that it would adhere to European legislation and support Public Prosecutor's Office in its work.

Last week, Union Association Cockpit (VC) exerted a warning strike pressure on low-cost airline. She wants to force Ryanair to bargain for permanent pilots at table. For some time now, Irish airline has been facing accusations of paying its employees significantly worse than or low-cost airlines.
