Investment trends in France and the Netherlands

According to a recent survey carried out by AMF in France, in collaboration with the European Union through the OECD*, almost 1 in 4 French people claim to have investments in financial instruments or crypto assets. If we delve deeper into the motivations for these investments, the survey reveals that new investors are mainly motivated by the intention of diversifying their savings. In fact, 35% cite this as the main reason for investing, followed by improved profitability (28%). An overwhelming 90% of investors believe that holding their positions for the long term will allow them to enjoy a positive return.

"In a constantly changing investment world, we want to become the reference platform for those seeking to grow their portfolio sustainably over time, prioritizing stability over speculation," explains Martins Sulte, executive director. and co-founder of Mintos.

In a similar vein, the Central Statistics Office of the Netherlands (CBS) and the Dutch Authority for Financial Markets (AFM)** indicate that of the approximately 8.3 million households in the country, around a fourth Part (about 1.9 million) is actively involved in investment activities.

"These data underline the widespread interest and participation of Dutch households in investment activities, reflecting a growing awareness of the importance of financial and estate planning," adds Martins Sulte.

The Mintos offer: loans, Fractional Bonds and ETFs.

Mintos already occupies a prominent position as the leading European platform for investing in loans, offering its users the opportunity to take positions in consumer and small business loans, allowing them to enjoy very attractive potential returns in the long term.

Another product recently added to the Mintos offering is Fractional Bonds, which allows customers to invest in high-yield bonds starting from as little as €50 and commission-free, and enjoy regular, fixed returns.

Mintos distinguishes itself by offering completely free managed ETF portfolios, which is a significant advantage compared to other market operators. This offering includes fixed income and equity ETFs from well-known providers such as Amundi, iShares, JP Morgan and Vanguard, among others. The minimum investment (and without commissions) is 50 EUR.
