Former ‘Bachelor’ contestant claims castmates aren’t really lesbians

Every rose has its thorn.

Former Australian “Bachelor” contestant Kristen Maguire says people shouldn’t “be fooled” about castmates Tiffany Scanlon and Megan Marx’s lesbian relationship.

Scanlon and Marx announced in October that while competing for Richie Strahan’s heart during the 2016 season, they developed a close friendship that budded into a deep romantic relationship.

In an Instagram Live video on Wednesday night, Maguire, the show’s notorious drama queen and a well-known Sydney socialite, insisted that her castmates were simply orchestrating one big publicity stunt, Mamamia reported.

Marx — who just moved to Bali with Scanlon — said she found Maguire’s comments to be “extremely disappointing.”

Marx  revealed she hasn’t even spoken to “loose tongued” Maguire since they were filming the show.

She told Daily Mail Australia that the comments are harmful, “Not just to my relationship, but to a community of women who are straight-presenting in image (don’t meet societies stereotypical standard ‘look’ of same-sex-attracted), and are struggling with their sexuality.”

Scanlon echoed Marx’s sentiment on Instagram, saying: “I am actually so tired, so very very tired, of the accusations and slander from ignorant and narrow minded people.”

Scanlon — who said she has been called a “skank” and a “publicity whore” by online trolls — offered her support to anyone else who has been a target of online bullying.

“No one has the right to place judgement or comment on someone else’s life especially when coming from a place of ignorance behind the safety of a keyboard,” Scanlon wrote.

Since announcing their relationship last year, Scanlon and Marx have posted a series of loved-up Instagram snaps frolicking on the beach and lounging in bed in their underwear.

The former reality contestants also have no qualms talking about their sex lives and their predilection for women.

“I’ve been with women before [meeting Tiffany], so it’s not the first time. I was a good little Christian girl and look at me now,” Marx said on KIIS 1065 Kyle and Jackie O Show last month.

“My parents are very, very supportive and very happy for me. I’m a very lucky girl,” she added.

Scanlon and Marx were named Maxim’s couple of the year in December and were also featured on the cover.
