Vinnie Hinostroza's exile in Rockford has ended.

The Blackhawks recalled the rookie forward on Sunday in advance of their game against the Sabres. Hinostroza flew from Chicago to Buffalo on Sunday morning to rejoin the Hawks, who lost 3-1 to the Oilers on Saturday.

Hinostroza was sent down to Rockford before the Hawks' extended break this week. He posted one assist in three games with the IceHogs. Hinostroza has six goals and eight assists in 46 games with the Hawks this season.
