NBA trade rumor roundup: Terrence Jones on the move?

Just three days until the Feb. 23 NBA trade deadline and while one blockbuster deal has already been struck, here's a look at the latest in the rumor mill ...

* With the New Orleans Pelicans acquiring big man DeMarcus Cousins to pair with Anthony Davis, as well as forward Omri Casspi from the Sacramento Kings, it appears Terrence Jones' days are done in the Big Easy.

ESPN's Chris Haynes reported on Sunday night that both sides were looking for a trade partner for the Portland native. Jones, who signed a one-year deal with the Pelicans last offseason, is averaging 11.5 points, 5.9 rebounds and shooting 47.3 percent in his fifth season out of Kentucky.

* In Sacramento, free agents-to-be Ben McLemore and Darren Collison are also available, according to The Vertical's Chris Mannix, along with Arron Afflalo.

* Also in the wake of the Kings-Pelicans deal: Sacramento has waived veteran forward Matt Barnes.

* Wilson Chandler is a name that seems to pop up nearly every trade deadline and this year is no exception for the Denver Nuggets wing. The Houston Rockets, according to ESPN's Chris Haynes, appear to have some interest in the veteran forward. The Los Angeles Clippers and Oklahoma City Thunder have previously been reported to have interest in Chandler.

* The Boston Celtics have well-documented interest in Jimmy Butler of the Chicago Bulls and though there have been talks between the teams, the discussions reportedly have not reached the "serious" stage. Another player the Celtics have "deep interest" in, according to Sean Deveney of the Sporting News, is Phoenix Suns forward P.J. Tucker: "Get Tucker, and the Celtics can add depth without giving up on a potential No. 1 pick. And there is cap space available this summer to sign a player in free agency."

The NBA trade deadline is Thursday, Feb. 23 at noon PT.
