HOUSTON -- It seems like neither Boston-based reporters nor former St. Louis Rams running back Marshall Faulk has gotten over Spygate. 

Faulk got into a heated exchange with reporters in town to cover the Patriots' seventh Super Bowl appearance over the scandal that he believes played a hand in the outcome of Super Bowl XXXVI. 

"They taped practice," Faulk said Thursday during a media availability for NFL Network hosts, referring to the Patriots allegedly having taped the Friday walkthrough before the Super Bowl. "That's a fact." 

The Patriots beat the Rams 20-17, Bill Belichick and Tom Brady's first championship.

"[The practice] before the Super Bowl," Faulk told reporters on Thursday afternoon, via WEEI. "The guy who worked for the Patriots. If you remember, that was someone mysteriously living in Hawaii, who made his way back to the states and delivered the tapes. Goodell then watched those tapes and said there wasn't enough there to deem anything being done.

"Now, I didn't see what was on the tapes, because we didn't get to see that. The only thing I could say is that they taped our practice. That was wrong."

The controversy led to an extensive investigation by the NFL and commissioner Roger Goodell and many Eagles players believe that the Patriots also recorded their practices leading up to Super Bowl XXXIX loss.
