The thieves snatched the purse Feb. 7 at the store at 5000 Wegmans Drive. Police did not say the value of what was stolen.

The thieves then fled the supermarket in a green/tan 2006-2013 Chevrolet Impala. The vehicle had moderate front-end damage to its hood and bumper, according to police.

Police obtained store surveillance footage of the man and woman believed to have committed the crime. The woman was wearing a black sweatshirt and denim jeans while the man wore dark pants, a dark sweatshirt and checkered scarf, as well as black sneakers. The man also had a black baseball cap turned backward and a full beard.

Police took to the department's Facebook page Thursday seeking the public's help in finding the thieves.
