The head of ICRC delegation in Syria, Marianne Gasser, said that in past two weeks, military operations have increased in a worrying way.

At beginning of week, Russian military had reported to have killed more than 300 fighters of terrorist militia "Islamic State" (IS) in east of country by air raids. In air strikes at gates of embattled city of Deir as-Saur, anor 200 combatants had been injured. In addition, a training centre, artillery positions, tanks and ammunition camps of extremists were destroyed.

According to ICRC, more than 1,000 refugees are currently meeting in some refugee camps in region of Deir as-Saur and in norast Syrian province of al-Rakka. For relief organizations, Eszunehmend will be more difficult to ensure m with water and food to versorgenund general hygiene. The international RoteKreuz refore called on all those involved to hold back. Human rights should be respected.

Attacks despite protection zones

Russia supports troops of President Bashar al-Assad in Syrian war. The government soldiers have been on rise in east province of Deir as-Saur for a long time. Syria's democratic forces, supported by US, are also fighting against terrorist militia in region. But again and again re are reports that attacks also kill civilians.

According to ICRC, attacks in recent times have also affected areas of protection that Iran, Turkey and Russia have agreed on. For se zones, it was agreed in middle of year that airspace would be blocked for fighter jets. Also, a fire break should apply. But time and again this agreement was broken.
