MADRID, 26 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) -

CCOO has called a 23-hour strike day in Renfe and Adif for next February 9 to demand the unblocking of the collective agreements already agreed between unions and the company and that the Government has blocked in both cases.

Specifically, the Ministry of Finance has not authorized the elimination of the entry categories in Renfe and, on the other hand, the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility has annulled the 35-hour day agreed upon in Adif, according to CCOO.

For this reason, in addition to the strike day, CCOO has called a rally in front of the Congress of Deputies next Tuesday, January 30, in response to the "defencelessness and administrative kidnapping of the agreements reached by the free will of the parties through of collective bargaining in public railway companies".

As a whole, the Adif works council, in which UGT, CGT, SCF and SF are also present, has decided to send a letter to the Minister of Transport, Óscar Puente, to request "the immediate and forceful purification of responsibilities before the inaction and poor management.

It will also suspend labor relations with the company's management, with the exception of health and safety meetings, and will recommend to the provincial committees to paralyze any collective bargaining, after losing confidence in management.

Likewise, the committee will hold another joint rally in front of the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility building on February 6, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m.

On the other hand, UGT has called for two-hour strikes on Mondays in February and warns that the conflict measures may take on a "much more forceful" character if the expected results and objectives are not obtained.
