The Canadian swim team finished their best ever FINA World Championships with two more medals on the final day of swimming on Saturday in Budapest, Hungary.

Canada has won a total of 11 medals over the past eight days, including three gold, four silver and four bronze. In swimming, it is the third country to have amassed the most medals, behind the United States (45) and Australia (17).

Summer McIntosh crowned this final day of competition by climbing to the top step of the podium in the 400 meter medley. The 15-year-old set a new junior world record with a time of 4:32.04. Americans Katie Grimes and Emma Weyant finished second and third respectively.

The young Ontarian will bring home two gold medals, one silver and one bronze.

The Canadian women's relay took bronze in the 4 x 100 meter medley event. Kylie Masse, Rachel Nicol, Margaret Mac Neil and Penny Oleksiak led the maple leaf to this third position. Ingrid Wilm, Kelsey Wog and Kayla Sanchez, who swam in previous rounds, also won this medal.
