A person was injured in a stabbing on Saturday night in Laval.

The police received a call around 11:30 p.m. concerning an injured person in the Sainte-Rose sector, at the intersection of boulevard Curé-Labelle and avenue de la Renaissance.

The 44-year-old victim was transported to a hospital. However, there is no fear for his life.

A security perimeter has been set up, and investigators are on site to try to shed light on the event.
