The staff of the National Mint and Stamp Factory, called to support a 24-hour strike tomorrow

MADRID, 13 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The staff of the National Mint and Stamp Factory-Real Casa de la Moneda (FNMT-RCM) will go on strike tomorrow, Wednesday, demanding more staff and compliance with the agreements signed with the management of the entity.

Specifically, as reported by CCOO this Tuesday, a 24-hour strike has been called for tomorrow in all FNMT work centers, which will continue on February 28 "if the management and the Ministry of Public Function follow each other." refusing to apply what was committed".

This strike will occur after the strike on January 31 at its two work centers (Madrid and Burgos).

The objective of the mobilizations is for the Public Service to approve the agreement signed with the management on June 28, which laid the foundations for the initial process of filling vacancies, activating partial retirement and reducing the working day to 35 hours per week. as established in the Framework Agreement for a 21st Century Administration that the Government signed with CCOO and UGT.

"The staff of the FNMT-RCM, a public company in which multiple identification products are produced such as DNI or passport, national lottery, circulating currency and bank notes, have grown tired of receiving delays from management and have decided to pass to action so that the effort that has been made in the company for years has a minimum of reward and it is provided with the appropriate staff to provide the service to the citizens that it deserves", argued CCOO.

The union has denounced that "the essential restructuring and rejuvenation of the company has been years late" and has criticized that, more than six months after the signing of the agreement with the management to solve this problem, the Public Service "continues to block the agreement without any basis".
