So far, it was only insider reports, now Donald Trump is no secret from his aversion to Amazon. On Twitter, he complains about the internet company.

U.S. President Donald Trump has publicly criticized Amazon Internet company in an unusual step for us Republicans. On Twitter, he accused globally active online trader of paying too little taxes and damaging domestic economy. "Long before election" to president he had expressed se concerns, Trump wrote. Amazon is adding huge losses to US economy and driving thousands of traders out of market. The US postal system was used by group as its "Delivery boy".

I have stated my concerns with Amazon long before election. Unlike ors, y pay little or no taxes to state and local governments, use our postal system as ir delivery boy (causing tremendous loss to U.S.), and are putting many thousands of retailers out of business!

Already on Wednesday, online portal Axios reported that US president wants to change tax treatment of Amazon. Trump was "obsessed with Amazon" and thought aloud about how he could get to group under competition law, information service wrote. Thus, rich friends would have contacted president and complained about decline of shopping malls and retailers. The stock market value of Amazon n temporarily broke by 53 billion dollars.

In fact, Amazon and or online retailers have a major impact on retail in US. Studies came to conclusion that this year alone will have to close 8,000 shops. Lastly, toy and child equipment dealer Toys R Us had to register for bankruptcy and 800 branches closed – Amazon is a direct competitor.

Trump, meanwhile, has had an aversion to Amazon founder Jeff Bezos for some time. In presidential campaign, chief executive was repeatedly critical of Republican Party. In addition, Bezos belongs to Washington Post – one of most prestigious newspapers in United States, which reports very critically about Trump's presidency. Trump again accuses editor of spreading false news.

In campaign, Trump had threatened Amazon with an "internet tax" and accused CEO Bezos of using Washington Post as a "tax loophole." The newspaper was merely a vehicle whose losses Bezos profits of Amazon small to save taxes, Trump declared in December 2015. Last year, Trump asked question: "is fake-news-Washington Post used as a lobbying weapon against Congress to prevent politicians from looking at Amazon's tax monopoly?"
