NORTHBROOK, Ill., Oct. 25, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- UL Solutions, a world leader in applied safety science, has announced the latest developments in heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) testing and certification ) that will be addressed at the Eurovent 2022 Summit that will take place from October 25 to 28 in Antalya (Turkey).

Organized by the Turkish Association of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Manufacturers (ISKID) and the Turkish Society of Sanitary and HVAC Engineers (TTMD), the annual Eurovent seminar, one of the highlights of the Summit, focuses on new technologies and trends in HVACR. At the seminar, UL Solutions Project Engineer Mahmut Karaca will present an update on Ultraviolet C (UV-C) and HVAC Sanitation at the October 25 seminar.

This year, the Eurovent Innovation HUB, the flagship event of the Summit, will focus on building bridges between innovation and sustainability. To that end, Dustin Steward, director and global head of the appliance, HVAC and component industry at UL Solutions, will deliver a keynote address on October 26 focused on flammable refrigerants in HVAC. Steward will illustrate a modeling and simulation program from UL Solutions that enables manufacturers to predict the behavior of flammable refrigerants in circuits.

UL Solutions HVACR safety science experts will also provide insight during Eurovent product group breakout sessions, including news and information on the latest regulatory requirements. The agenda for the breakout sessions includes modeling and simulation, news and changes related to certification standards, and Brexit in the context of evaporative cooling equipment and residential air handling units.
