ATHENS, Greece, Dec. 23, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Hard Rock International, GEK TERNA Group and the Athens community celebrated the opening of the luxury resort and casino in the heart of Athens Rivera. The opening event featured a commemorative celebration of the shovel at the historic Hellinikon Airport. The ceremony that followed was held at the Hellinikon Experience Center and included Hard Rock International executives, GEK TERNA Group executives, Greek government officials, political dignitaries and local community leaders.

The €1.5 billion construction project is a state-of-the-art facility that is expected to generate 3,000 construction jobs and 3,000 permanent jobs that will not only stimulate the local economy of Athens, but will also have an immediate positive impact on the Greek economy.
