DUBAI, UAE, Nov. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of the UAE, and Chairman of the DIFC, has announced the launch of march of the Dubai FinTech Summit, a global event that will bring together more than 5,000 experts, opinion leaders, policy makers and decision makers in Dubai to discuss how they can shape a new wave of innovation, entrepreneurship and growth for the international financial sector.

Organized by the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC), the Dubai FinTech Summit will take place on May 8-9, 2023 in Dubai. The event will feature the presence of some of the industry's leading personalities, who will offer their views on the challenges in the sector and identify opportunities to maximize the impact of financial technologies on people, businesses and economies.

Home to the largest group of fintech and innovation companies in the region, DIFC is one of the fastest growing spots in the global fintech market, valued at more than $135.9 billion in 2021. The market is expected to grow at an annual growth rate of 11.9% between 2022-2027 to reach a value of more than 266.9 billion dollars in 2027. 1

The Summit program will include in-depth discussions on key topics such as the future of fintech, integrated and open finance, sustainability, Web 3.0, and digital assets. The Summit will also offer an opportunity for more than 100 FinTechs and Future of Finance players to showcase their latest technologies and innovations.
