After accusations against director Dieter Wedel for alleged sexual assaults, Public prosecutor's office in Munich has investigated. As authority has pointed out, re is an initial suspicion of a sexual offence which may not be statute-barred.
The starting point for investigations is a report in Time magazine. In it, two former actresses had accused ir name of having sexually harassed m in 1990s. In addition, y issued sworn insurance. Wedel contradicted accusations, also by affidavit. The attacks described by actresses were supposed to have taken place more than two decades ago.
Thus, Jany Temple had raised accusation that Dieter Wedel had forced her to sex 1996 in a Munich hotel room. By amending law of 2015, limitation period of 20 years has recently been suspended in case of serious sexual offences until age of 30 of alleged victim. 1999, Jany Temple was 30 years old, so alleged act was only 2019 barred.

Wedel resigned as director of Bad Hersfelder Festival on Monday. According to his spokeswoman, 75-year-old has suffered a heart attack and is in hospital.
