A man who turned his residence into a bawdy house where young escorts went to use drugs and have sex has been sentenced to 40 months in prison.

During his life, Stéphane Pedneault did several therapies to resolve his cocaine addiction.

Between 2014 and 2019, the man had managed to control his demons, but a separation had quickly made him plunge again.

Thus, it is during an encounter of the anonymous narcotic type that he invites an escort to his home to consume free base and have sex.

Brutal aggression

The 55-year-old man who wanted to "play the savior" with girls who work in prostitution will make his residence a veritable bawdy house where young women come to consume and have sex.

Pedneault, described as a "sexual opportunist", will also meet an escort through a dating site.

After a dinner at his residence, Pedneault had started a brutal sexual relationship with the young victim by holding her arms before ejaculating in her mouth without her consent.

Complaint filed

The woman, who was never paid by the accused, then filed a sexual assault complaint against the man.

The latter, who had a sincere realization after his arrest in November 2019, pleaded guilty to the charge of sexual assault, obtaining sexual service for consideration in addition to possession of drugs.

A sentence of 40 months in prison was granted to him by judge Bernard Lemieux. However, the accused had already served 48 months in prison since his arrest taking into account the preventive detention.

Thus, Stéphane Pedneault could be released from prison this weekend although he still has one last file to settle.
