Quebec added 13 more deaths in Quebec for the day Thursday, as hospitalizations remained at a fairly stable level from the previous day.

Only one additional patient joined hospitals in the province for a total of 2,222 hospitalizations, including 763 due to COVID-19. This level had not been reached since April 27 with 2,241 hospitalizations.

In intensive care, 69 people are still present, four more in the last 24 hours.

Nearly 1,671 new cases detected by PCR tests were also reported in Belle Province and 369 positive rapid tests were self-reported.

Approximately 6,352 health care workers are still absent from the network for reasons related to COVID-19, namely preventive withdrawal, isolation and awaiting results.
