Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) officers are conducting searches in Saint-Ferdinand and Plessisville, in Centre-du-Québec, as part of an investigation into a terrorist group.

The ongoing investigation targets individuals suspected of being associated with the Division Atomwaffen terrorist group, the RCMP said Thursday morning on its Twitter account.

“All measures are in place to ensure the safety of the population and our police officers”, we also assured.
