A violent head-on collision occurred in Longueuil on Taschereau Boulevard near the Megaplex Guzzo between George and Charles streets around 4 a.m. this morning.

In these two vehicles were four people who were taken to hospital.

There are currently fears for the life of one lady among the victims.

A woman in her twenties has been arrested for impaired driving.

Being in the hospital, she will be met by the police when her condition allows.

Taschereau Boulevard is completely closed to eastbound traffic at this time.
