A 28-year-old man is in critical condition after being rescued from the bottom of a lake in Sainte-Lucie-des-Laurentides, located in the administrative region of the same name.

Around 10:30 p.m., the relatives of the victim who accompanied him to the shores of Lake Wilson were worried not to see their friend who was missing. While looking for him, they discovered his clothes on the edge of the lake and realized that he had probably drowned. According to information from the Sûreté du Québec, he was not wearing his life jacket.

Dispatches on the spot, the local firefighters quickly located it under water, not very far from the shore. Once out of the water, the man was transported to a hospital, where he is still fighting for his survival.
