The Laval Police Department is actively looking for a suspect in connection with a break and enter that occurred in a residence on June 28th.

The public's help is requested to find a suspect who reportedly showed up on June 28 at around 1:47 p.m. at the door of a family residence in the Laval-Ouest sector.

While the owner of the residence and his son were working in the field, leaving the garage door open, the suspect reportedly rang the doorbell, and getting no answer, entered the residence.

He then allegedly stole items worth more than $60,000 from a room before fleeing in a vehicle.

Police describe him as a Caucasian male, in his 60s, with dark, thinning hair, and wearing eyeglasses. The man is of large stature, and on the day of the flight was wearing a short-sleeved, gray camouflage-patterned shirt, blue jeans and blue sneakers.

His vehicle would be Mazda, model 5.
